What is the Apostille?

The Apostille is a certification that simplifies the traditional legalization chain of public documents for international use, modifying the form to accredit its authenticity through a sole procedure.

These documents issued in Chile which are to be used in a member country of the Apostille Convention, must be recognized in any of these countries without any other type of certification.

Likewise, apostilled documents received in Chile from abroad (from any member country of the Convention) must be also recognized without the necessity of any additional certification.
